The Ward 4 Oral History Series
We stand on the shoulders of many inspiring Bostonians, from our ward committee’s original founders to our current leaders. Through their grassroots activism, they have changed the course of the city’s history. These leaders continue to shape our neighborhoods toward social, racial, economic, and environmental equity.
As part of the ongoing Ward 4 Oral History Series, we are conducting interviews to capture our living history. The interviews will be shared as written transcripts and as short video features. We may even create a Ward 4 documentary feature in the future. We need your financial support to continue this important work!
Your contribution of $25 pays for a video transcription.
Your contribution of $50 helps us maintain our video archive.
Your contribution of $100 pays for filming an interview.
Your contribution of $250 pays for video editing.
Your contribution of $500 will help us create a display of Ward 4 history in collaboration with the BPL and local organization.
Your contribution of $1000 will help underwrite a short documentary feature about Ward 4 heroes.
Contribution rules
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
