Contribution rules
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
Contributions to this committee are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 per election cycle.
Sherman for Congress may accept individual contributions of up to $3,500 per person per election ($3,500 for Primary 2026, $3,500 for General 2026, $3,500 for Primary 2028, $3,500 for General 2028). Contributions will be applied first to the 2026 election and then to the 2028 election cycle. Qualified federal multi-candidate PACs may contribute up to $5,000 per election ($5,000 for Primary 2026, $5,000 for General 2026, $5,000 for Primary 2028, $5,000 for General 2028), and will be applied first to the 2026 election and then to the 2028 election cycle.
