Honoring Ady on our five-year anniversary
When Amy and I were getting married five years ago at City Hall in Santa Barbara, we asked our friend Ady Barkan, the founder of Be A Hero, to officiate the ceremony.
Ady’s death last year was a terrible blow. But Ady’s legacy is not one of suffering and loss. It is a call to action. Ady believed, as we do, that justice is what love looks like in public.
