I briefly met Oliver Ma in front of a detention center in California City, where I was gathered with other people who were there to condemn the presence of an illegal, private prison being used to facilitate the immigration policies of the Trump Administration.

I then saw his campaign pop up with clear messaging about housing, healthcare, and immigration.

Following a bit more and he communicated his clarity about being anti-genocide and not taking money from the pro-Israel lobby.

And seeing his campaign come to life, it is clearly grassroots, lively, and full of vibes and the kids say ;-) He clearly takes the job and the calling seriously, but he does not take himself seriously.
