My name is Brett Robinson, and I am a recent graduate student at the University of Houston. This past May, I graduated with my master's degree in public administration. I am prepared to lead as a State Representative because I have always been involved in my community, and the MPA program at UH has given me core skills I believe all lawmakers should possess, such as public management, public budgeting, and policy implementation skills.

First and foremost, I am running to restore reproductive freedom. My opponent is one of the authors of the abortion ban in Texas, which completely bans abortion after 6 weeks and provides no exception for rape or incest. When I saw that he went unchallenged in the last election cycle, I threw my hat in the ring to hold him accountable. Many of his constituents do not know the role he played in the loss of this fundamental right, and I am dedicated to spreading the word. As the Democratic nominee, I am honored to be giving my community a choice on the ballot this November.

In so many ways, our society is going backwards, and I refuse to be part of a "closed door" generation. Issues like public education, income inequality, gun violence, climate change, and more will persist if we do not have the courage to meet this moment. I hope to have your support.
