Trump carried this county by six votes in 2024. Democrat Pete Lesher was the top vote-getter of anyone on the ballot. Then a MAGA-hijacked GOP primaried and expelled its own #1 vote-getter, Lynne Mielke, for being reasonable. Talbot isn't red — it's deep purple, and it's fed up.
