Brian Straw for Oak Park Trustee

The actions we take today are going to define the Village of Oak Park for the next 50 years.

We've accomplished a great deal together over the past four years. We passed a secure storage ordinance to keep our kids safe from guns. We passed the Vision Zero Plan and began building neighborhood greenways to make sure our kids can bike and walk to school safely. And together we were one of the first communities in the nation to remove Flock cameras from our streets and reject the growing surveillance state.

Our work, however, is not done. And that is why Brian is running for reelection.

Together, we will make sure the Vision Zero plan doesn't get shelved, but becomes a reality. We'll give our first responders a safe workplace designed for the 21st century, instead of a firehouse built for horse-drawn carriages. And we will build the Oak Park so many in our community remember fondly – a diverse community where neighbors play together, share a meal, and care for each other.
