Donate to Bringing Arizona To Action (BAZTA)

In this era of resurgent white nationalism at federal and local levels of government, we need to strengthen POC-led movement organizations and build POC electoral power more than ever. As a result, it becomes necessary for communities of color to continue to defend ourselves and blaze a clear moral path towards our collective liberation.

In the 2018 election, it is critical that communities of color continue to build electoral and political power up and down the ballot. We must seize this opportunity to grow the electoral base. Our power and our future lies in mobilizing those who have the most at stake.

In 2018, Puente Arizona and Poder in Action (formerly, Center for Neighborhood Leadership) partnered to form BAZTA – Bringing Arizona To Action, a 501(c)4 organization, that will continue the work of engaging first-time and low propensity voters of color as a means of community power-building for immigrant justice and criminal justice reform advocacy efforts.
