Brockton Democratic City Committee
- The mission of the Brockton Democratic City Committee is to foster and advance the ideals and aims of the Democratic Party, to work and organize for the success of Democratic Candidates in the City of Brockton, in Plymouth County, in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and in the United States of America.
- Brockton, Massachusetts is the largest City in Plymouth County and often becomes the bell ringer in many elections in Plymouth County, If we are successful in getting out the vote in Brockton, Democratic Candidates running for County wide office will be successful.
- Brockton is a Gateway City, we are home to a large immigrant population, low income families that often lack the knowledge and resources needed to become civically engaged. The Brockton Democratic City Committee seeks to develop forums to assist our immigrant communities work towards Citizenship and full engagement in our Community.
- Brockton is facing a uphill battle against a well funded corporation who is pushing to build a gas Power plant in the middle of our community despite the opposition of all of the City Council and the vast majority of our citizens
- The Brockton Democratic City Committee hopes to serve as a focus group in our efforts to obtain Environmental Justice for the Residents of Brockton.
