Bruce Leon is a fifth-generation Chicagoan, father of four daughters, grandfather of six, small business owner and philanthropist with decades of experience on both private & public boards. 

As the product of public schools, Bruce believes that our school board needs leaders who are independent from City Hall so they can effectively advocate for our families and students.

 

And as a parent and grandparent, Bruce understands the concerns Chicago families face and knows how important it is to have a school system that prioritizes students and their ability to learn – no matter what zip code they live in.

Bruce is running for Chicago School Board District 2 because he believes our schools need leaders who can deliver results for our children, support our teachers and provide accountability to taxpayers. He knows our children deserve schools that give them the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed.
