Bryan Tanner is the current President of the St. Joseph County Council and running for re-election in 2026 to continue serving the following neighborhoods in District H:


  • In The Mish: Downtown, Oaks, West End, Hooligan Heights, Blair Hills, and Highland Village, as well as the neighborhoods surrounding Mishawaka High School and John Young Middles School
  • In The Bend: River Park, Bercliff Estates, and Swanson Park neighborhoods


Bryan is putting public service over politics, leveraging his professional experience and personal competence to move our County government forward. His focus has been on:


  • Responsible governance and strategic decision-making
  • Transparency and increased accountability
  • Resolve complex policy issues and repeal outdated, ineffective ordinances
  • Balancing budgets with priorities in public safety, community health, and economic opportunities for all families
