Brookhaven Town Democratic Committee Women's Caucus Lillie B. Crowder Women’s Leadership Award

The mission of the Brookhaven Town Democratic Committee (BTDC) Women’s caucus is to bring attention to the concerns of women and increase women’s participation in politics as Democrats in Brookhaven. We aim to recruit and prepare women to run for office and win. Our grassroots efforts strengthen the connections of our communities to the Democratic committee, our local campaigns, and the Democratic party as a whole. 


On October 19, the BTDC Women's Caucus will recognize JoAnne Young ten Doesschate with the 2025 Lillie B. Crowder Women’s Leadership Award. Help us to honor Joanne’s outstanding record of public service and to strengthen women’s voices in Brookhaven by sponsoring this award and/or attending the event.



The celebration will take place starting at 4:00 PM at the Port Jefferson Village Center 101 E. Broadway, Port Jefferson, NY 11777
