OUR MISSION
The Buffalo Soldier Working Group is discovering new and exciting things about the African American soldiers who served loyally here in Utah. They left their mark on Fort Douglas in the Salt Lake Valley, the Uinta Basin, and Fort Duchesne. When called on the men of the 9th and 10th served in Wyoming and other areas throughout the west. Their legacy is exciting.
