Support the Building and Revitalizing American Democracy (BRAD) Fund!

First and foremost, thank you for your continued support. Because of your generosity, my campaign has a strong and steady foundation as we enter the heart of campaign season. This year, your support has been especially needed as for the first time in 8 years, I have a well-funded challenger. He is working in every corner of the district to win votes and is making every effort to level false attacks against me and my record. Thanks to the strong bedrock you helped lay, I have every confidence we will prevail this November.

Now, I am humbly asking for your help as I gear up for another fight. I have recently decided to run for Chair of the New Democrat Coalition for the next Congress. The New Dems are made up of 100 pragmatic House Democrats who work across the aisle and across the Capitol to advance innovative, inclusive, and forward-looking policies. Representing almost half the Democratic Caucus, New Dems are united behind a mission to build an economy that works for every American. We are the “can do” caucus, finding solutions to the problems our country faces. Our members were central to passing the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in 2021, the Inflation Reduction Act, the CHIPS and Science Act, the Safer Communities Act, and so much more legislation that is creating a stronger nation.

I am running for Chair of the New Dems because we need an experienced voice that will help the Coalition continue to grow, advance its priorities and help put and keep control of the House in Democratic hands. I previously served as Chair of the political arm of New Dems – the New Dem Action Fund – which raised more than $3 million during my term, second only to current Chair Annie Kuster. I’ve also spent the past 8 years in Congress helping vulnerable Democrats retain their seats and take back the majority through my role as the DCCC Frontline Co-Chair.

I also think we need a leader of the New Dems next Congress who will ensure our members are at the heart of some of the most important policy debates we will have – rewriting the tax code. As a Member of the House Ways and Means Committee, I will ensure that pragmatic problem solvers will have a seat at the table.

I need your help to ensure that I earn the support of my colleagues and win the race for New Dems Chair.

Thank you for your support,

Brad
