2025 Storytelling Projects
The California-Mexico Studies Center will complete its last three DACA Study Abroad Programs completing 32 cohorts of over 800 DACA recipients that have successfully traveled to Mexico from 2014-2024. The California-Mexico Dreamers Study Abroad Program has allowed DACA recipients to travel to Mexico with DACA’s Advance Parole permit, immerse in a unique study abroad program, and reconnect with their family and cultural roots.
As the CMSC transitions into 2025, we will continue to look for meaningful ways to support DACA recipients and the undocumented community, through cultural and educational exchange. We will host events when possible and create ways to stay connected during these difficult times through story telling, social media and digital platforms.
