Donate to our Building Fund

The Democratic Party of Brown County has a long history of being a key player in the Wisconsin political space. We secured a permanent campaign headquarters in downtown Green Bay in June 2012, becoming one of the only county parties to own such a strategic asset. Today we are the largest swing county in a swing state, positioning us to shape the political landscape of both the state and the nation in upcoming years. Our headquarters isn’t just a building - it's the heart of our progressive community, serving state and local candidates, organizers, and volunteers driven by the ideals of our party.

While we are in a strong financial position, the amount owed on the remaining building loans hampers our ability to spend where it matters most. The amount owed on building loans as of September 2023 is just over $32,000.

The Democratic Party of Wisconsin has generously offered to match our fundraising up to $16,000- effectively doubling our efforts!

Our goal is to find 16 individuals or entities willing to generously donate $1,000 each. Or 32 willing to donate $500. Of course, any amount is welcome! Their contributions will be directed towards completely settling the outstanding loans on our building. By liberating ourselves from this financial obligation, our party can redirect its energies and more freely use our resources for candidate support, advertising, fundraising, and literature. Specifically-

Candidate Support: Our immediate focus post-debt will be to financially bolster local candidates, especially for those down-ballot races.

Advertising: Print, mail, and digital advertising to uncover more volunteers, candidates, and donors.

Fundraising: Sometimes it takes money to make money! We host get-togethers and events periodically throughout the year. Having more available funds to make these events more enjoyable and memorable is key.

Literature: Producing brochures, posters, and other materials to promote candidates, and inform voters about policy issues, events, etc.

More than just a monetary collaboration, your donation will help advance our shared vision of a blue Brown County!
