In this year’s election, too much is at stake for the Right Wing, and they will stop at nothing to ensure Black voters feel powerless in the electoral process. In the last 24 hours, soldiers in convoys, humvees and buses have swarmed the streets of Charlotte to intimidate peaceful protesters mourning Keith Scott.
This is the work of the radical right. And as Election Day draws closer, the Right Wing will do even more to terrorize Black Americans and pour more money into a Trump victory for 2016.
So we’ve developed our own radical technology to mobilize millions of Black voters to the polls.
This is an intense moment. In the midst of it all, NC Governor Pat McCrory has seemingly suspended plans to expand early voting in Black communities. One thing is clear: we have to show up for each other if we ever hope to win systemic changes at both the national and local level. Flexing our voting power is one way we force elected officials to be more accountable to Black folks.
