Courage for the People!
Courage California's "Courage for the People," is a virtual evening with long-time activist and educator Dr. Angela Davis in conversation with Black Women for Wellness Action Project's Nourbese Flint on Thursday, August 13th at 5:30 pm PST. Courage California is hosting this intergenerational conversation to spotlight this visionary leadership, connect Black Lives Matter to our broader lineage of movements, and highlight how we can fight systemic racism at the ballot. The event will also feature special guests such as Oakland Youth Poet Laureate 2019, Samuel Getachew, and a special appearance by the Emmy-, Tony-, and Grammy-winning Billy Porter!
This event will NOT be recorded and there are a limited number of viewing tickets. The only way to be a part of this historic event is to reserve your spot now!
