Support Derek Tran for Congress: Ballot Cure Fund

The race for CA-45 is the closest in the country according to 538 and has attracted more outside spending than any in the country. With your contribution, we will be able to fund our ballot cure efforts.

We knew this race would be close, and it’s still currently too close to call. This is a true testament to all the work this team has done to close the margin on this race. The way things stand, we need to make sure every vote is counted in order to win, so we have to ask again for your support.

Right now, California’s 45th District is still very much in play for the House. With Donald Trump in the White House and MAGA Republicans controlling the Senate, we need a House Majority that will stop a national abortion ban, cuts to Social Security, and guts to healthcare dead in their tracks. A Democratic House Majority may be our last line of defense against Donald Trump and the Project 2025 agenda.

The Democratic House Majority is still in reach, but only if we can flip CA-45 blue and send Derek Tran to Congress. There are still thousands of ballots yet to be counted, so victory hinges on counting every vote in CA-45. 

This race is still too close to call, and there are thousands of ballots left to be counted and cured. The House Majority will come down to California, and the path to the House Majority runs through CA-45.
