Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to Cantwell Tester Victory Fund will be allocated as follows:
Contributions from a non-political action committee person will first be split evenly between Friends of Maria and Montanans for Tester, up to a total of $6,600 per Participant. The first $3,300 of such person's contribution to each committee will be designated to the primary election; the second $3,300 will be designated to the general election. Any additional contributions from a non-political action committee person will be split evenly between the Washington State Democratic Central Committee and the Montana Democratic Party.
Friends of Maria does not accept contributions from PACs. The first $10,000 in contributions from a PAC will be split evenly between Montanans for Tester and the Washington State Democratic Central Committee. The next $10,000 in contributions from a PAC will be split evenly between Montanans for Tester and the Montana Democratic Party. For Montanans for Tester, the first $5,000 of a PAC contribution will be designated to the primary election; the second $5,000 will be designated to the general election.
Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting marisa@bluewavepolitics.com. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
