In 2024 the Maryland Democratic Party elected Senator Angela Alsobrooks and successfully defended all three open House seat electing Reps Johnny Olszewski (MD-2), Sarah Elfreth (MD-3), and April McClain Delaney (MD-6), in addition to the re-election of Reps Glenn Ivey (MD-4), Kweisi Mfume (MD-7), Jamie Raskin (MD-8), and Leader Steny Hoyer (MD-5).
