Nanette Barragan for Congress

Goal thermometer

Nanette Barragan is the very portrait of the kind of women we need running for and serving in the leadership of our country today.

As mayor pro tem of Hermosa Beach, she stood up to Big Oil by opposing oil drilling off Hermosa Beach and lead the successful effort to defeat a drilling in the Santa Monica Bay.  Barragán also worked hard to ban plastic bags, which have many negative environmental impacts including threats to marine wildlife.

Barragan's record speaks for itself.  The passion she brought to protecting her community, one of the most at risk for pollution in California, shows a passion and leadership that she will apply to other issues in Congress.

Support a true champion of environmental justice.
