I am Caroline Avinger, and I am running for South Carolina District 24 to fight for education, attainable housing, and healthcare you can count on.
I'm not waiting for someone else to fix what's broken.
For a while, I was doing exactly what I’ve always told my daughters not to do: complaining without offering a solution.
So I stepped forward.
As a small business owner, former teacher, and full-time mom, I've lived the challenges our district faces – and I believe representation should be present, responsive, and accountable.
Too many decisions feel distant from the people who live with their consequences. Teachers deserve support grounded in classroom reality. Small business owners deserve relief from crushing insurance costs. Working families deserve housing and groceries they can afford.
This district deserves a representative who shows up – and that’s exactly what I’m here to do.

- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
