Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to Cartwright Victory Fund will be allocated as follows:
Contributions or gifts to the Cartwright Victory Fund are not tax deductible. Contributions from corporations, labor unions and foreign nationals are prohibited under federal law.
Cartwright Victory Fund is a joint fundraising committee authorized by Cartwright for Congress and the Pennsylvania Democratic Party. Contributions to the Cartwright Victory Fund shall be allocated as follows:
CONTRIBUTIONS FROM PERSONS OTHER THAN MULTICANDIDATE PACS:
The first three thousand three hundred dollars ($3,300) received from each individual or person other than a multi-candidate committee will be allocated to the Cartwright for Congress 2024 Primary election. The next three thousand three hundred dollars ($3,300) received from each individual or person other than a multi-candidate committee will be allocated to the Cartwright for Congress 2024 General election.
The next ten thousand dollars ($10,000) received from each individual or person other than a multi-candidate committee will be allocated to the Pennsylvania Democratic Party.
MULTICANDIDATE PAC CONTRIBUTIONS:
The first five thousand dollars ($5,000) received from each multi-candidate political committee will be allocated to the Cartwright for Congress 2024 General election. The next five thousand dollars ($5,000) received from each multi-candidate committee will be allocated to the Pennsylvania Democratic Party.
PROVISOS FOR ALL CONTRIBUTORS
Any portion of any contribution from federally permissible sources in excess of these amounts, and any contributions prohibited under federal law, will be refunded to the contributor. Notwithstanding the stated allocation formula, a contributor may designate his, her or its contribution to a particular joint fundraising participant. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocates, would exceed the amount he, she or it may give to any participant.
