Contribution rules
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- The Oakland Campaign Reform Act limits campaign contributions by
all persons (OMC §§3.12.050 and 3.12.060) and prohibits contributions
during specified time periods from contractors doing business with the
City of Oakland or the Oakland Unified School District (OMC
§3.12.140).
- I am at least eighteen years old.

Contributions to Cat Brooks for Oakland 2018 are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. The Committee may accept up to $800 per individual, business entity, committee or other organization or group of persons acting in concert, and up to $1,600 from a broad-based political committee. Contributions must be made from the donors’ own funds and may not be reimbursed by any other person. Contributions from foreign nationals who lack permanent residence in the United States are prohibited.
