With over 30 years working in education, Cathy is a staunch advocate for public education. Cathy believes better funding in education will help reduce class sizes, better retain teachers, and implement programs to increase student success, reduce bullying, and improve attendance.


A Utah resident for 43 years and Cache County for 32 years, Cathy raised four children who graduated from Logan’s public schools and has three bonus children with husband, Val Heusser, and 10 grandchildren.
