Donate to Cathy Jordan for Belmont City Council

Cathy Jordan has lived in Belmont for over 25 years where she raised her two daughters. During that time, she has represented her community on the Belmont Redwood Shores Elementary School District Board of Trustees and the Belmont City Council. She currently serves on the Mid-Peninsula Water District Board of Directors. Cathy is the only person in the history of Belmont to serve on all three of those bodies. 

As a parent, Cathy's community engagement began early through volunteer work with local children's activities, youth sports, and various committees. She also worked hard to help pass critical local funding measures to keep resident tax dollars in Belmont where they've made a huge impact improving student achievement and upgrading aging facilities. Cathy listens carefully to feedback from all stakeholders, asks probing questions, and weighs all the options before making decisions she believes are in the community's best interest.
