I'm Carleigh Beriont. I'm a mom, teacher, and public servant who’s spent my career fighting for families — from classrooms to town halls. Now, I'm running to represent New Hampshire’s First District in Congress.
On the campaign trail, I've met parents and grandparents who are worried about the impact social media is having on their kids and grandkids; teenagers and young adults who have decided that scrolling is no longer worth the toll it is taking on their mental health; and researchers and journalists who have concluded that social media as we know it is broken and contributing to the fracturing of our country.
I don’t use social media. That is a personal choice and a political one. I believe the spread of misinformation and the pressure to “perform” online have done real damage to how we relate to one another and how our leaders communicate and govern.
But I’ll let you in on a secret: that choice also means I get to meet voters where they are by showing up at community gatherings, attending town halls, and putting miles on my car to have real conversations with people everywhere in this district.
That’s where you come in.
Reaching people where they are — with integrity — costs money. Mail, staff, gas, and voter outreach all adds up. We’re building this campaign from the ground up, and every dollar helps us keep doing it our way.
