With new district maps, help PA Dems gain ground on the GOP's extreme legislative majority

More favorable district maps for the state legislature give Democrats in both chambers a chance to win key races this year and make progress toward flipping Republican majorities to Blue over the next two cycles.

Please give what you can to these four strong Democrats:

  • Lisa Borowski, House District 168. With deep roots in Delaware County and experience in local government, Lisa is challenging an incumbent who barely squeaked out wins in 2018 and 2020.
  • Melissa Cerrato, House District 151. As someone who struggled financially and worked low-wage jobs to get through a divorce, Missy is a champion for working families. Her GOP opponent may find his reputation as a “moderate” outweighed by his party's zealous anti-abortion stance.
  • Dr. Arvind Venkat, House District 30. An ER doc and “a phenomenal candidate,” he is running for open seat where new district boundaries include Blue-friendly suburbs.
  • Paul Friel, House District 26. After losing in 2020 to an incumbent who opposed the certification of Biden’s electors, Paul is running in a newly drawn district that improves his odds of winning.
