El Paso County Democratic Party (CO)

Democracy on Layaway: Let's Flip the 5th!

The cost of everything is soaring—yes, even the cost of safeguarding democracy itself!

But here’s the thing: we can’t do this alone. Together, as teachers, nurses, parents, veterans, government workers, military personnel, lawyers, voters—the people of CD-5—we can make a difference.

Our mission is straightforward: hold Rep. Crank accountable, mobilize our communities, and support our democratic candidates. These are difficult times, but they demand bold action. They demand a new approach to organizing—one that builds people power and focuses on the issues that matter.

Here’s how we’ll make it happen:

Community Engagement: Local Events, Community Resilience, Trainings, and Team Building

Rallies, town halls, trainings—these are the backbone of our movement. With your support, we’ll expand our capacity to bring in more voices and more stories.

Listen to the Issues: Utilizing Digital Tools and Issue Based Townhalls

Texting campaigns, issue-based town halls, and digital tools will help us reach every corner of CD-5. Your contributions fuel these conversations and help us invest in tech infrastructure to make events accessible—whether in person or online.

Accountability: Townhall, Lobby Day, Direct Actions, and Petitions

From town halls to petitions, direct actions to an annual DC Lobby Day, we’ll hold Rep. Crank accountable for his votes and actions.

Donate today.

Be the change.

Terms and Conditions of Democracy on Layaway: When every Democrat in our county gives the cost of just one coffee, or one beer, or 1 dollar a month, we’ll have the people power to flip the 5th in 2026!
