Send Help to Texas
The US Supreme Court (5:4) just allowed a near-total ban on abortion in the State of Texas to stand (at 6 weeks many women don’t even know they are pregnant). If women’s rights are not secure in Texas -- they aren’t secure anywhere.
It is shameful, but not surprising. Across the country, Republican legislatures are copying each other’s playbook; orchestrating the largest assault on reproductive rights since Roe v. Wade. Emboldened and determined, the GOP is moving quickly, viewing last week as a sign of approval from the court.
Elections have consequences, so we’re here to help. We want to raise as much money as possible for our counterparts at the Texas Democratic Party as possible and we need your help.
By chipping in from this email, you split a donation between the Texas Democratic Party and the Colorado Democratic Party to ensure we retire anti-choice legislatures in Texas and Colorado.
