The Cedar County Democrats are fighting to protect our Democracy and stand up for our Democratic values.
Values like strong public educational opportunities for all children no matter their family’s income, ethnicity, or abilities. Like women’s reproductive freedom. Like voting rights and access to the ballot for all. Like the right of children and adults to live their true life and marry who they love. Like caring for the planet we live on with environmental action.
You can help your Cedar County Democratic party do that with your support. We represent you in parades, at the county fair, and with our column, ‘Cedar Valley Voices’. We support candidates with direct donations and by placing ads in the local papers. We maintain our headquarters in Tipton where we can meet candidates and hold our monthly meetings.
All of this takes money and, thanks to some generous donors in the past, we have been able to maintain a strong presence in Cedar County. We started a sustaining fund five years ago and it has been very well supported.
You can be a sustaining member with a $50 donation for an individual, or $100 for a couple. If that is not possible, we appreciate any amount you can donate to help your party keep an active presence in Cedar County and help support our candidates.
