Located In Danville, KY. At one of the most expensive Liberal arts colleges in the state with a Billion dollar endowment, a Group of Workers and students dare to fight for what's theirs.

After the strike, none of their demands have been met yet, so we're expecting retaliation and ready to go on an Unfair labor practices strike when the retaliation starts. To resolve the fears of many staff members we are creating this retaliation fund using the local chapter of Food not bombs that local EWOC Organizer Matt Littrell is a director of. Updates: We recently learned about an extra $18Million building fund Centre college is sitting on, as well as an Additional $2Million discretionary fund. Yet the board of Trustees refuses to talk to the workers, and it's about to be fall already. We had our first meeting with a local Trade union Friday, August 14th. The Staff workers will soon be requesting authorization cards. They're considering a separate bargaining unit for the 200 student-workers who currently make minimum wage...

Help us in one of the most ambitious workers campaigns to take place in South Central Kentucky in a very long time.

Please also check out Danville for peace, it's an on campus Palestine solidarity group run by some of the very same students I've been supporting since November. I'm honored to be working with such fine Young folks and our struggle for Palestine, Congo, Sudan, general Social Justice, student conditions, and staff conditions are all interconnected!
