Years ago, former Chairman Robert Hamilton created the Century Club (also known as the Roosevelt Club) in order to prevent the economic shortfalls of the party which occurred during the slow times of the party's calendar year. Bob wanted a way that the party could always make sure there were funds available year-round, not just during the midterms or presidential election years. The kindness from this group of donors allows the party to have funds on hand to be able to assist in events and activities throughout the year.
