Lindsey Prather has represented North Carolina’s 115th district since 2023. During her tenure, she has championed several vital areas, including Pre-K 12 Public Education/Community Colleges/Universities; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; and Reproductive Healthcare. Before attending college and then teaching in Buncombe County, she called Cary, North Carolina, home.
Lindsey is a proud product of the Wake County Public School System and attributes her success to the fantastic teachers who uplifted her. She even graduated from high school in my district! Go Imps!
Her experiences led her to teach in public schools for six years, work as the Assistant Director of Admission at UNC Asheville to counsel incoming transfer students and military veterans/students, and now serve in a state office advocating for students, teachers, and families. She is the best advocate for public education because she has been on both sides of the classroom and knows Cary’s schools like the back of her hand.
Lindsey is a one-of-a-kind public servant representing all North Carolinians, from mountains to sea and Buncombe to Raleigh.
She is in a highly competitive race, with the GOP contributing hundreds of thousands of dollars to her opponent. Let’s do our part by supporting her in any way we can.
Thank you so much. Your support is invaluable and deeply appreciated. It means the world to us.
