Detroit Recount Expenses

CFDF is a election integrity organization whose mission is to protect the democratic election franchise.

Before Detroit's General Election CFDF stationed a small army of certified election challengers inside of the Cobo Hall Absentee Voter Counting Boards.

Our team of Detroiters were meticulously trained and given specific detection procedures to perform during the evening. The procedures, for the first time ever, included remaining inside Cobo until the wee hours of the morning until every case was sealed to meticulously record their security seal numbers.

Our procedures, among other things, included recording machine counts, machine serial numbers, observing ballot insertions; noting the filled ovals on the ballots; as well as the paper quality of various ballots   Challengers reported astonishment !

Today,  on November 21st, the Wayne County Board of Canvassers completed their canvass and the next day, several Democratic candidates for District seats on the Detroit City Council quietly and filed recount petitions seeking to recount of 100% of their absentee ballot cast in their Districts.  The requests were rooted in fraud.

Today, December 1st,  the County Canvassers approved the recounts and now must determine when it will start and where.

Citizens for Detroit’s Future must be prepared this means we need to call upon ordinary folks to help us raise money to cover administrative costs, legal fees and expenses to conduct training sessions for our volunteers to serve as recount challengers.  Please help!
