My name is Chris Gilmer-Hill, and I’m proud to be a candidate for State Representative in District 8. I’m a lifelong Detroiter, and my family has called parts of our district home ever since my great-grandma moved up from Louisiana.
We need young leaders who are connected to their communities. That’s why I came back to work in Detroit after graduating from Harvard, and it’s why I’ve served my neighborhood as a Democratic Precinct Delegate for the last two years.
I believe we need a State Rep who will fight for us - that’s why I’m taking the next step and running to represent our district in Lansing.
Our campaign doesn't take any money from corporate PACs, so we need every dollar to help spread our message.
