Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
Contributions are not deductible for income tax purposes. An individual, union, political action committee, association, partnership, business, or corporation may contribute up to $5,500 per election to our campaign. Donors must use their own funds to make contributions and may not be reimbursed by their employer or any other person or entity. All individual contributors must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Lobbyists registered to lobby the California State Legislature may not contribute.
