In Ohio, lawmakers are finalizing Senate Bill 56, which guts the adult use law passed by voters in 2023. Prohibitionist efforts are underway in Maine & Massachusetts, where activists are pushing to repeal adult use marijuana laws via ballot initiatives, Cannabis taxes are being raised in States like Michigan and 23 states had banned Hemp THC consumable products. Lastly, on October 24, top law officers from 37 states and two U.S. territories formally asked Congress to halt the sale of potent hemp-derived THC products, led by attorneys general from Arkansas, Indiana, Connecticut, and Minnesota.
