Chapin Cimino for WSSD School Board Region 1

Chapin Cimino is running for reelection to the Wallingford-Swarthmore School Board in 2019. She is a product of public schools and believes wholeheartedly in public education. She moved to Wallingford-Swarthmore three years before her first child arrived – just to be in this district, which she had heard was excellent. Excellent has indeed been her experience over the past nearly 22 years living here, from kindergarten in Swarthmore through the high school in Wallingford.

She is a lawyer, law professor, and mother of (as of this writing) high school daughters. She makes sure to listen to all relevant information and consider multiple perspectives before making voting decisions on the Board. She often seeks a middle way – as a law professor she has written about Aristotelian legal theory – and brings that philosophy to her service on the Board.
