My name is Charles DiGruccio, and I’m proud to be running for Peekskill Common Council. I’m stepping forward because I believe in Peekskill’s promise—a city where diversity is celebrated, every voice matters, and neighbors support each other. As a high school English teacher for over 20 years and the president of Peekskill Pride, I have dedicated my life to creating safe, inclusive spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued. I’m now ready to bring that same commitment to our city government—working to protect what makes Peekskill special while helping it grow even stronger.
I’m currently raising funds to ensure my campaign connects with every corner of our community, spreading our message and engaging with voters who share the values that make Peekskill great. I’m proud to be part of a strong slate of candidates, including Vivian McKenzie for Mayor and Beverley Chang, Darren Rigger, and myself for City Council, who are committed to continuing the work of moving Peekskill forward. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us connect with more voters and ensure that Peekskill continues to thrive.
Thank you for your support and for joining me in working toward a brighter, more inclusive future for all of us.
