I’m so proud of our work together to deliver for Ward 6 and the entire city in my time on the DC Council. I’m now running again as a Fair Elections candidate, which means I won't accept donations larger than $50, and donations from DC residents are matched $5 for every $1 donated. I never take donations from corporations or PACs.

Why I'm Running:
I’ve been proud to fight for great public schools parents trust and students thrive in.
Ward 6 now leads the way in delivering more new affordable housing than anywhere else in our city.
I’ve championed our small businesses.
I’ve implemented comprehensive solutions to improve public safety, drive down crime, and create opportunities for second chances.
I’ve helped dig our public transit system out of a financial crisis and created new ways to make our streets safer by holding dangerous drivers accountable.
But the fight is far from over, and this is a pivotal time for Ward 6 and DC. This past year has been one of the most challenging many of us can remember. Neighbors have lost their jobs. Career public servants are missing paychecks and standing in line at food banks. Residents have been taken off our streets by masked federal agents. Trump is tilting everything toward the wealthy and well-connected while trying to pit everyone else against each other. And a hostile Congress is preying on our vulnerability and trying to erode our autonomy and rights.
This is the time for leadership. As a tested, experienced leader on the Council, I know we can fight and win. We have to stand up for our values and come out as a stronger community on the other side. I need your support today to continue the fight.
