NFL: Pay cheerleaders a fair wage
The National Football League makes $9 billion a year--but pays cheerleaders, their most visible female employees, virtually nothing.
Worse yet, according to court documents, cheerleaders are required to pass a "jiggle test" before they perform and "sold" at a charity golf tournaments to sit on men's laps in golf carts.
But cheerleaders for the Buffalo Bills, Oakland Raiders, and Cincinnati Bengals are fighting back with lawsuits, and with the NFL's preseason about to get started, it's the perfect time to turn up the heat.
