Throughout her nursing career, Cherri has influenced positive change as a champion for evidence-based nursing practices, clinical education, and innovation. She has directed business development activities across the country, building healthcare partnerships through extensive outreach.
Cherri’s leadership success is grounded in a strong nursing background spanning occupational health, geriatrics, psychiatry, medical-surgical units, informatics, and her current role in community health as a certified school nurse. She earned her doctorate in education from the University of Pittsburgh while running for the Pennsylvania State Assembly in 2024 and was twice accepted to the prestigious Salk Fellowships, most recently in a Medicaid-focused cohort. Through this work, she has deepened her expertise in communicating the impacts of Medicaid on participants and communities.
Today, Cherri is running for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in the 58th District. She is committed to applying her professional experience, leadership skills, and dedication to public service to advocate for families and communities across the region.
