I'm running for Senate

Serving Genesee County in the Michigan Senate has been the honor of my life — because this work has never been about politics. It’s about people, families, and the future we’re building together.

Every morning when I look at son and daughter, I’m reminded why this mission matters. I want them — and every child growing up in our community — to have every opportunity to thrive.

Over the past four years, we’ve made real progress: securing major investments for Genesee County, strengthening protections for workers and residents, expanding access to state services, and solving problems neighbors brought directly to my office. We’ve shown what happens when government listens, works hard, and puts people first.

I’m running for reelection because our work isn’t finished — and because I believe deeply in the future of this community we call home.
