Time is Running Out—This is Our LAST CHANCE to SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY!

Event Details:

What: Reception with Ben Wikler, Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin

Date: Wednesday, September 25

Time: 7:15 pm

Where: Home of Wendy Heltzer in Roscoe Village (address provided upon RSVP)

Host Committee (in formation): Bernadette Chopra, Carol Dawley, Judy Gold, Wendy Heltzer, Marcie Love, Lee Miller, Lucy Moog, Jerry Newton, Sheila Nielsen, Elizabeth Posner, Becca Schanberg, Karen Zelden & Ralph Senst, and Hollis Wein

Please join Ben Wikler, Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin (WisDems) to discuss why Wisconsin’s elections this cycle will define the future of American democracy:

Presidential. Whoever wins Wisconsin on November 5th will win the presidency.

Senate. We must re-elect Senator Tammy Baldwin to preserve the Democrats’ Senate majority.

House. We can flip two Congressional districts—Wisconsin’s 1st and 3rd—to help gain control the U.S. House.

Future. We need to win a majority in the Wisconsin State Assembly to avoid dangerous voter suppression laws from becoming enshrined in the state constitution.

What is the expected impact of our event?

Our $100,000 investment will be used to onboard 16 field organizers, which will allow the creation of 32 new neighborhood teams; each team will lead 40 volunteer shifts with 40 doors knocked per shift, generating an expected field output of 51,200 doors knocked.

Trump won Wisconsin in 2016 by a 22,748 vote margin and Biden won in 2020 by a 20,682 vote margin—without being overly dramatic, our support of WisDems could determine the outcome of the 2024 presidential election. It is within our power to prevent a second Trump presidency.

If you want to defeat Trump in November, there is no better investment this cycle than in Ben Wikler and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.

If you are unable to attend, please consider a contribution. An investment in Wisconsin is an investment in America's democracy.
