Note: All donations to this fundraising page from 9/15 - 10/31 will be distributed on a weekly basis as direct cash assistance to tenants affected by the Chinatown fire we are able to get in contact with.


We are Chinatown Community for Equitable Development, an intergenerational, multiethnic, all volunteer grassroots community organization based in Los Angeles Chinatown that seeks to empower and organize with the largely working class community.


Our work includes anti-eviction site fights, tenants rights education, demanding affordable housing and rent control, resisting physical and cultural displacement. You can find out more at www.ccedla.org !


Your donation would support our organizing efforts by funding expenses such as translation to Chinese and Spanish, printing of materials to distribute, booking spaces to hold meetings and events, resources to host direct actions.
