Chinatowns across the U.S. are under attack. Landlords and luxury developers are pushing out longtime tenants in an attempt to overhaul working-class neighborhoods for profit. Community members have been fighting back for decades and need all the support they can get.

Committee Against Anti-Asian Violence (CAAAV: Organizing Asian Communities) works to build grassroots community power across diverse poor and working class Asian immigrant and refugee communities in New York City. Through base-building, leadership development, campaigns, alliances, and organizational development CAAAV organizes Asian communities to fight for institutional change and participates in a broader movement towards racial, gender, and economic justice.
