We are Californians for Human Immigrant Rights Leadership Action Fund (CHIRLA Action Fund). Founded in 2009, the CHIRLA Action Fund works to advance the rights of immigrants at the local, state, and federal levels by supporting candidates, legislation, and ballot initiatives that reflect our communities’ values and vision.
Through our Immigrant Political Power Project, we organize immigrants to actively participate in the electoral process, educate voters on the issues that matter most, and uplift candidates who champion immigrant justice.
From education and outreach to canvassing and phone banking, the CHIRLA Action Fund mobilizes Latino and new American voters in every election cycle—building lasting political power rooted in community, representation, and belonging.
