The Christopher Hoven Memorial Fund
LGBTQ+ Victory Institute and the Victory Congressional Internship program ensures that young LGBTQ+ leaders are given the tools they need to succeed in a career in politics.
Christopher Hoven passed away after a brief illness on Christmas Day, 2020. At a time when many LGBTQ+ staffers were uncomfortable or afraid to be out on Capitol Hill, Chris blazed a trail for countless others who came after him. He was always a resource and role model for young LGBTQ+ staffers and for Victory Congressional Interns. This is an impact that the Hoven Memorial Fund supports through the funding of the Victory Congressional Internship program.
This fund will ensure that future generations of LGBTQ+ leaders can come to Capitol Hill, participate in the democratic process and launch their own political careers. Support these leaders by making a generous contribution today.
